Anthony DeLorenzo attended Loyola University of Chicago for his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. He received an academic scholarship through the Reserve Army Training Corp in 1982.He graduated a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992 from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He underwent specialty training in Internal Medicine at the Chicago Osteopathic Medical Centers. During this 3-year training period he also completed the coursework in medical acupuncture through the University of California Los Angeles School of Medicine. He has been a practitioner in osteopathic internal medicine and medical acupuncture since 1995. Dr. DeLorenzo holds the following positions and affiliations: a staff physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Hinsdale Hospital and La Grange Memorial Hospital, staff physician at several local extended care facilities, he is on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Osteopathic Medical Society and Chairman of the IOMS Scientific Symposium 2003, 2004, 2005. a member of House of Delegates of the American Osteopathic Association, a charter member and treasurer of the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.
